OAO 'Avtoelektronika' is a company in the automotive industry sector involved in developing and manufacturing of various electronic systems and components for major automobile manufacturers of Russia and surrounding countries.  

Kaluga factory of electronic products (KZEI) was established in 1990 as a successor of design electronic bureau and workshop No. 8 of the Kaluga Plant of Automobile and Electrical Equipment ("KZAME"). OAO 'Avtoelektronika' approaches the new level of the development and has recently established two joint ventures together with major international automobile components producers. In the area of sensors and ignition systems manufacturing Avtoelektronica joined forces with Electricfil Automotive while Bitron Industrie SpA became a partner in the field of electronic control units, visible interior switches, air conditioning system components as well as electronic gas pedals and other components.

Quality management system

Since 1998 quality management system according to ISO 9001 was implemented at OAO 'Avtoelektronika'. As a result of setting up certain requirements for the suppliers of automobile components in 2008 management system was certified for the compliance with technical specification ISO/TS16949: 2002. In 2011, the company received a certificate of conformity to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO / TS 16949:2009. More

OAO 'Avtoelektronika' is fit with equipment for the assembly and product control while using surface mounting, has manufacturing facilities to produce thick film products, hybrid and semiconductor technology executed on the basis of using computer-aided design.
