Automobile plant "Ural" was founded in 2001 sourcing its establishment from restructuring of the production complex "UralAZ." The company is a part of the "GAZ Group" and is a major asset in the structure of 'Trucks" subdivision.
Currently, Automobile plant "Ural" manufactures four-wheel drive off-road 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 trucks with their capacity ranging from 4 to 15 tons trucks; 4x2, 6x4, 8x4 trucks purposed for exploitation on hard surface roads (road trucks) with the capacity ranging from 9 to 25 tons, shift buses created on the basis of 4x4 and 6x6 full-wheel drive vehicles "URAL" (with the passenger capacity of 22-30 passengers), cargo vehicles with the construction subsequently based on former, including those equipped with a hydraulic manipulator.
